OPP Team Sarah McLaughlin - Director, Strategic Communications Sarah McLaughlin has over eight years of experience in marketing and development. As Director of Strategic Communications for Outreach Process Partners, LLC, Sarah is responsible for applying the OPP methodology to project management, overseeing day-to-day project operations, anticipating and mitigating risks, leveraging resources, assigning individual responsibilities, reviewing deliverables, and implementing quality assurance programs.
Prior to joining OPP, Sarah worked as Media Buyer for Dynamic, Inc., a New Orleans-based advertising agency. She successfully oversaw buying activities in negotiating with media representatives and placing media buys. For her clients, Sarah monitored the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and made recommendations to maximize future buys.
Before moving to Louisiana, Sarah served as Development Associate for the Providence Center, a behavioral health care nonprofit, where she planned and executed fund raising campaigns and helped the organization to surpass its one million dollar endowment goal. Additionally, she managed the Staff Annual Campaign, for which she improved participation rates and facilitated staff training. Sarah also successfully solicited small to mid-size companies and secured cash gifts.
For the University of New Hampshire Small Business Development Center, Sarah served as Project Manager in the Office of the Economic Initiatives (OEI), where she spearheaded and promoted FastTrac Entrepreneurial Training Programs throughout the state of New Hampshire. Sarah composed regional marketing plans and press kits, which effectively generated favorable publicity and increased visibility. She established and fostered strategic relationships with Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Councils, and other media vehicles to leverage significant long-term business opportunities. Education: Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami, with concentrations in English Literature, Philosophy and Spanish and a four year President's Scholarship. She is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, a preparatory school, where she was awarded the Headmaster's Scholarship.
